It's getting windy out at my place, probably enough wind to kite at the ferry terminal.

YVR is gusting over 20 and Sand Heads is 25 knots so Gary Point Park would be sailable too if it holds/lasts.

Good westerly wind, fills like summer. Sunny and warm.
Sailed from 12 till 3:30. Started on Starboard foil + 6.3, when switch sail to 5.0 it was gusting to 20kn. Later switch gear with Shan to Futura and 5.7. Well powered all the time.
4 windsurfers and one kiter far upwind.
Good westerly wind, fills like summer. Sunny and warm.

Nice, glad you and a few others got out, it was a nice sunny day.

Got out for a sunset foil session on my new NP Glide L foil, took a while to figure out the foot placement with the foot hooks.
Beautiful day with 14-18 knots.

That NP large foil is an interesting example of recent foil evolution; Tyson Poor is using the same foil on a foil-sup with a mast insert, for all his windsurf-foil freestyle practice in La Ventana this winter. No footstraps or harness, and never bigger than a 4.5m sail.
It makes a very light and playful package that he’s doing upwind 360’s and various other tricks with. When there are waves and no wind, he uses it for SUP-surfing and tow-surfing. It’s great to see foil setups becoming more versatile.
He and Wyatt Miller both say they’re done with straight-line speed oriented foils and are having a lot more fun with the high-lift gear. Of course, they are reps for NP and Slingshot!!
One definite upside: the crashes are less extreme!
