This morning the corduroy was medium-firm softpack. Alton would describe it as "grippy."

They are running Pistenbullys on the Panorama side. I wouldn't be surprised if they open it soon.

A wise 8th century Japanese poet wrote this haiku:

Eagle is open/
Lots of happy cold white snow/
Cypress crew, send it/

Day 1 - Excellent groomers for the first 3 runs down Maelle Ricker and Lower Panorama ... before it got chunky, tracked out and rocky. Called it quits at 9:50am. Joined by LeopardSkin (snowboard) and (on skis) Doug, Clay, Rob and Bill.

Captain Jerry didn't made it but I surely did :D very great quality groom that started showing rocks in very few place by 4th run on Eagle chair side buuuuuttttt ,not many more showed after till like 11 ,and it was cold so the run didn't get mushy or too bumpy for snowboarding, awesome first day and 2,5 hours of obscene amount of carving, somewhere close to 20 rides! Only saw Alton at morning coffee.i think they will open lion side tomorrow but it seem that the snow cannons where running no more, maybe out of water already....
looks like Wet Sunday/Monday at cypress, but Whistler mid mountain show decent amount of dry snow by Monday morning.Mt Baker seem close for another 6 days, whattttt.
