I rode that with 8m?. Unbelievable. Had a fun 2 hour session though. It felt windier though -- or maybe it's just the 2 hour long drive from Squamish to BBay -- getting through workday traffic. Not sure if I'll do that again for marginal wind like that. Maybe on another desperate day who knows.

It was definitely an underwhelming day. When I was rigging I told myself I'd be happy with 15 knots all day. We didn't even come close. First hour was 14g18 but then it was up and down between 10 and 16 with more 10 than 16. For sure a bit windier than the graph but not that much.

I saw a few windsurfers out today but didn't look like they were planing. Did you get out today?

Thanks for for posting the graph (and Alton). I was out today (along with Pavel). Counted 14 kites and us two windsurfers. Rigged 6.0. A little planing in the gusts but generally under powered overall 6.5 would have been better. Still, this was my first time ever sailing at Boundary Bay. It was a great time regardless. Look forward to sailing BB again soon weather permitting.

Glad you got out, hopefully next time you'll get some more wind. I was tempted but just not enough.

I didn't have any issues with weeds yesterday which was nice (not like a few weeks ago!)
