Today, NW, 4pm-6:45pm, best surf around that time. Checking every hour.

Local wind probably at 3pm then weakening, coming back at 6pm.

Halibut bank will decide, if you see it at 16+ knots, then waves will be good.

Ballenas at W15 knots, hb already looking good at WNW 12 gust 14 == 0.4mHB

Ballenas at 18, HB at 16 == 0.8mHB ... a few waist high waves.

I would get gear ready.

I'm keeping an eye on this one. Hoping it makes its way to WR. But if all else ferry terminal may be an option for some speed sailing.

Still not much support from TAF for local wind today.

I would expect at least an hour of 14+ knots at Squamish today.

Already at 0.5HB with just 15 knots at Ballenas and 14-16knots at Halibut.

5 more knots and 0.8+mHB for the remainder of the day as NW is just starting.

NW will get to sand heads soon.
