Hoping for some wind tomorrow morning.
8am will be 5 foot tide and dropping. Not sure what tide makes the ferry terminal a mud flat. Might have to get there at 5:30 or 6.

this energy contraption may be on the way ... eyesore (move it to Tofino or a smaller prototype)... anything goes with grant money and connections.

Wind looks early, we'll see what TAF update has to say. As of writing EnvCan calls for 20-25kn overnight.

I was wondering what that dome was! From Wreck, it just looked like a large radar reflector..had no idea it is a wave power test project.

In the Georgia Strait there are 8 million waves in a year

...laughable. In my experience, perhaps several thousand that are beyond waist high :D . I think wind power generation is far more practical, perhaps on Ballenas or off Lasquetti where there is a wind-funnel effect. Or Race rocks, where the wind always seems to be cranking.

on g spot nw. pick your fav spot. I know where im going.
eta 7am or before. wind suppose to drop slowly.

bring extra hot water in a in a cooler(work good) ,bottles,or thermos to warm up during and after hands and feet. electric tape ends of wet suit for less water entry. use fleece under wetsuit and booties and mitts/gloves to keep much warmer.it work.

do not miss this one.

Any OSR? I second guessing it as it seems to be dropping in the straight.
