Things were looking off, so took a gamble on a new to me spot.

Sandy Point near locust payed off, an hour on my 12m. Could have stayed longer but had to get home to watch the kids.

Second time I have seen it blow there when the locust “machine” is broken.

Sandy point looks like a cool place to kite, I've always wanted to try it. Seems to get good winds too.

1) Where is Sandy Point

Do you mean the spot by Lummi Island?
Can you post a pin?

I drove up to Lummi Island and there was no wind :/

2)
Btw. Locust - does it even work on SE? Or is it only S and SW
It felt like the land was blocking off a big chunk of the wind... As we came up past the cliff
there was more wind - still not ridable - 10knots...
