Darren at Feral has been ordering 19m ozone edges for the WR light wind crowd. I have not tried yet, but our very experienced light wind kiters claim it is the cats meow. I trust them.
I love my best 2014 TS 15m and have not found a LW kite I prefer, but it certainly has quirks as it is more freestyle oriented (pop and slack). But It goes upwind when the 17s can go upwind, with much less leg pressure. It has an amazing top end which allows me to rig big, IMO this saves more “fun sessions” than getting an extra 1/2-1 knot of bottom end. In my experience, kites that adverise “pulls like a truck” or “grunty” means you can slog downwind better in sub 8knots, that’s not part of my kite selection criteria.
Best has crazy deals on right now, you could get a 14m & 16m for 1099 USD for BOTH! Wish I was in a position to buy one (or two). I have not tried either size.
