It seems to lift pretty early and can definitely fly quite slow. It does hit a fairly hard "wall" at speed, basically pitch stability goes put the window if you push it too hard.
That said I don't have any experience with really stable sails which I think can't help a lot. Likewise I think a longer fuselage would show some improvement.
I've tried shimming the stabilizer with much luck but I think I'll retry that with the new board.
Aeronautical tangent:
The slingshot has what is called an "undercambered" airfoil section. Really good for high lift but not very good for pitch stability. So it could be a problem inherent in the wing.
