I have three old 1990s boards that I cleaned out from a friend’s estate. If anyone wants any of them, for whatever purpose, just let me know. Two are “ Windance 8’3” Gorge” boards - one polyester and one epoxy. Classic bombproof Gorge high wind boards, they are about 75 litres and work with 3.7 - 5.2m sails. I used to have the identical polyester (fibreglass) board and loved it at the Gorge and Nitinat. They stick to the water and slice jibes, but need strong or steadier wind compared to newer designs. If you want a free board for the odd nukin day at Centennial then I recommend the polyester one.
The third board is a pristine Prior custom slalom board. Very light, hard rails, and narrow by today’s standards, so it should be super fast but probably not easy to jibe unless fully powered. It has good Dakine straps and a deep Tuttle box (but no fin) so you need a Tuttle or deep-Tuttle blade fin for it. This board is probably best for flatwater blasting such as Squamish. Note that up hauling would be very challenging due to its width. Imagine a ‘90s Roberts board with a nose-picker tip and you have the idea.
All boards are available for pickup on the N Shore or I could bring to Nexen sometime.
Price is non-negotiable (I won’t go below “free”) and all sales are final
