Hey Guys

With Squamish being rainy. And local spots having no wind.
What do you think about Nitinat?

Looks sunnier and gradient tool looks like Alberni will be much warmer then Ucuelet.

What are the odds of decent wind so i get my kick?

Odds for wind good. :D
Odds for multi-sailing waits on ferries also good.
Odds of crowded camping also good (heard it was 'full' last weekend).

Some people say Port Alberni calling for rain will mess it up on Saturday and Sunday :/... Is this the truth?

From what I have seen an overcast day with trace amounts of rain in the Cowichan Valley will shut down the lake for the day (although sailing rain squalls at the lake may be an option). But a real soaking in the Cowichan Valley (not likely this weekend) can shut down the lake for a couple of days while it dries out (unlike Squamish where the rock walls of the valley can dry out the next day), although I have heard some from the Isle say this effect has been reduced with all of the clear cutting in the Cowichan Valley. I have told you more than I know. :D ;)

Rain in Port Alberni will not likely affect wind at the lake as the two are not connected (they are in two different wind systems. :D ;)

Be very careful playing in the Columbia R in springtime. Meltwater, flow rate is currently high, and reports are saying quite a bit of debris in the water.
