Don't think the lake will be good for water sports for quite a while. The big melt has begun and what a change in the lake. Stump lake was flooding on to the road on Thursday last week whereas Nicola is now high and very dirty. All of the creeks are raging, and much of the upper part of the lake very dirty and full of wood. The new Quilchena campground looks far from complete. The golf course was underwater.
