Pretty decent wind yesterday, not too many people out. I was on the skim + 12m from 3:00-6:00.

What a perfect wind 13-18. A beautiful day to plane the whole afternoon (7m/130litres) and race against motorboats. I missed it, next time.
Slappy, you are more into NW Jericho thermals these days... post your wind forecast for the inlet and times you think it will last, maybe a day in advance if possible (every year is different, throw us a bone ... also water temperature, no wind lingo).
No surf except maybe on Wed, early morning at wB, 6AM (12FT tide and going lower), small.
Did you catch a snack? Seaside has the biggest crabs. ... I'll pack my soy sauce next time.

I think you'll be able to get 12 knots all this week.
Most of the time I look at what EC says for the straight and trust TAF more than anything. TAF is only 24h in advance though but it's usually bankable.
On top of that I look at the gradient between Vancouver -> Abbotsford and anything more than a few degrees gives a thermal.

Also if it's sunny out the city will be a few degrees warmer than the Vancouver forecast and give a 1-2 knot kick to conditions at Jericho.

This is some great info and a good approach to Jericho/Locarno. I'm going try to get my first session of the season in this week. That's the goal anyway.

Nice it looks like the RVYC has finally fixed their sensor too so now we have both meters and a working direction.
