I BELIEVE that first aids and boat course (around 160$) would and should be repaid to chosen candidates after after a couple weeks work, i will personally put pressure for that.
Courteous and Alert for quick response time is key, a rescuer cannot give bad attitude during a public rescue on the water or play head games.

The Squamish Windsports Society is seeking a skilled individual to join our team for the 2018 season. The position focuses around water sport recreation safety similar to a lifeguard yet spans customer service and coaching, to specialized on water emergency rescue situations. The position runs on a variable schedule as the wind season ramps up and down between May and September, flexibility is key. Key qualities include: methodical, attentive, courteous, energetic and adventurous.
Minimum Qualifications:
Marine PCOC (Pleasure Craft Operators Card)
Basic first-aid/CPR-C or above
Legally able to work in Canada (citizen, resident or working visa)
Experience and comfort in and around water
Located in Squamish B.C. from May 15th thru Sept. 15th
Personable and friendly with large volumes of public interactions
Basic computer skills with decent typing speed
BC drivers license
Mid to high level of fitness
Preferred Qualifications:
Proficient Kiteboarder
Experience with marine watercraft
Experience instructing/coaching Kiteboarding (IKO cert. or equivalent exp.)
