Anyone have any hope for sailing today at Squamish?
Thanks,

Forecast looks good.

Carpet rollup today though as the official season ended yesterday.

Arrived at 1:30 pm just to miss the 1 hour of steady wind. Pretty busy at the Spit but most disappointed kiters left the crazy gusty / lully conditions. Patiently waited until 3:30pm for the wind to steady out and scored 1 hour of boosting on 12m + TT with 8 others.

Looks like a busy day at the Spit. Too bad I'm busy today

Summer? 28 kites out (when I counted). Crazy 8's (one clipped my mast with their lines - after I got up I watched to make sure they got going again, but no words were spoken). Cool water. Warm air. Solid, steady wind at times. Up and down at times. Lots of west in it a Nexen when I launched - not so much at the river. Stronger on the east side on the way back (reverse polarity). Fun little summer cool down.

Who was on the foil Dave? I notice they have the new sailworks FLYER made specifically for foiling.

Spoke briefly at Nexen (he was rigging down as I was headed out). Didn't recognize him. Pretty sure he is from the city.

Perfect way to end the week. Awesome 1.5 hr of boosting at the Spit. Steady SW 18-22 on 12m+TT in super flat water. Got choppy at 2:30pm when the crowds arrived.
