When there's absolutely no wind

gabrielb wrote:David, tofino seems to be dishing some good surf. Brownie is still there. Busy lately and waiting for some local wind. Joined George to Seaside a few weeks ago. Haven't windsurfed once this summer. SE's soon. You had a great summer and good waves :)

Your company and the rest of 'Van Boyz' crew was missed in Tuff! The Brownie was there, but keeps disappearing and needing replacement.  :D ;)

Oh yeah, the summer swell has been sweet at times for sure - Monday evening was particularly nice (a few shots below)!

Summers not over, yet, there is still time to get out windsurfing!

Mild forecast. Good for SUP at 8 ft tide, all depends on PR wind. Give it a try.

Dave way to represent buddy! Looks like you scored big and had an awesome summer of surf. Those pics are outstanding. Between you and Keelan I expect to see your new sick skills on deck for the local winter season!

Great posts. Keep it coming. Thanks a lot.

Looks like there is NW push forecast for the north straight that could mean wind swell for Wreck Beach. Thoughts?

6:30am-8am (tide is good 6ft-10ft flood). But by forecast looks like 0.7m (with luck, a 0.8m).

Late afternoon tomorrow, same deal, another 0.7m (but higher tide).

Then you have to fight for parking with students if driving at 7am.
To me, it has to be 0.8m by 540am (5am reading), otherwise continue sleeping.

All marginal, maybe a few waves.

it will be glassy, waist high.
Break at WB2 (next to rocks ;) ). That's simple enough to get a few without much driving. Probably 0.9m by 7:30pm... once sisters turns on at 5pm
