Gusty day at Squamish. Hit the water early only to be humbled with a self-rescue and a walk of shame up the Spit Road. Waited patiently scored a 1 hr window of steady wind (WSW 20-25 from 1:45pm to 2:45pm) on 9m + TT. Awesome boosting conditions.

Opposite of Sunday. Uncrowded steady SW 18-22 perfect boosting conditions for 12m+TT. Drained after 1.5 hours ... need a break after 4 consecutive days

How does the smoke affect the wind in Squamish? The wind graph looked pretty bad today.

Not sure ... but WindGuru didn't forecast good wind either.

Am I reading the forecast correct, and that the prognosis isn't the best for Squamish for the next few days?

The temps in Vancouver are cooler than expected (I think) because of smoke. I wonder if that will help.

I am curious why the SWS wind graph looks so much better for today than the one above (which I am guessing is iWindsurfs)? SWS's was still a little light for us windsurfers but much steadier, and looked fine for kiting. What to believe?
Weekend forecast is for outflows so tomorrow may be the only chance for a while, will f you can stand the traffic and the smoke.

yesterday was great for like 3 hours.7 to 13m.

Some beginner kiter tourist who paid 20$ was rescues by jet ski ,and was told unkindly by the male rescuer to take lessons and stop bothering
Rescue!!! sounds wrong to me, anybody else heard problems wt rescue team paid from the Funds?
