Windsurfing shop talk

Hope you get good news from VGH Dave.
Love the shot of the old Dill board at Swell City. One of the original pintail Gorge boards, it's amazing to see one still on the water instead of becoming part of a bench or fence. I remember those sticking to the water no matter how gusty it got, but sinking like a stone in the holes! Almost as old-school as a Windsurfer One-design 8-)

Leaving for the Oregon Coast tonight. Next week looking promising for Pistol River.
Will be at the Oregon Coast from July 1-7 and Columbia River Gorge from July 8-15.

Will be missing the Kite clash and the Jericho slalom race but hope everyone have fun in both events.

Yummy forecast.

First day today at Cape Sebastian. Very clean beginner friendly waves. Light wind though but a good warm up for what I'll be up against in the next few days.

1 kiter (me) and 1 windsurfer (me). And lots of photographers at the viewpoint. I must say I have enjoyed the beach to myself after spending 4 days at the Gorge with so much crowd and traffic on the water.

I feel so naked walking to groceries with my 2 dogs. I get these strange look from wide-ass people driving with their wide-ass truck to groceries. Come on wide-ass OR people -- it's good for your blood pressure.

Nuking day at Pistol River today. Enjoyed the company of Richard windsurfing today. More nuking days to follow until the weekend.

Feeling abundant with dopamine so no more feeling contempt for now for wide-asses who give me a look like I'm a "bad hombre", quote Donald Trump

Glad the feeling of abundance has overtaken the 'funny vibe'. If Cape/PR ramp up to 'crazy' early, remember heading south to Crescent City in NORCAL for a mellow wavesailing session is always an option (especially if your packing a kiteboarding gear) - best on S to W swell to my understanding . Enjoy your time on SOC! :D

Another nuclear day NW 30 to 40 knot at Cape Sebastian with Richard and me windsurfing. Richard on 3.7m/86L and me on 3.4/68L. Really enjoying down the line. Today waves at Cape Sebastian is decent for learning sailing down the line.

More to come until the weekend.

I'm not feeling funny vibes anymore perhaps the wind god has been good to me and blow away these funny vibes. I'm healed. Love nature. It heals naturally.

Same setup for me and Richard again on another nuclear day. First couple of hours (12-2pm) wind at 25-30 knots. Beginning to time when wave will break when coming from behind it. Then after 2pm it climbed to crazy 30-40 knots again. Mostly in survival mode -- not fun.

Wind forecast still good until the weekend.

Tomorrow Richard and I will try out the Rock. Waves seem more interesting and more selections.

Thursday maybe a little lighter (20-25 knots) so I can go kiting instead -- I kind of miss it.

Big question for me is whether to stay here until weekend or head back to the Gorge... Hmm decision decision decision..
