Thanks for that Gabriel. Wow, do you have any idea where that is? Everyone is wrapped in neoprene so I suspect far north or far south.
4-5 ft. @ 20+ sec...I could take that pain for awhile, or at least I hope I could. Though..."THEDUDETOTALLYWASTEDTHEWAVE, NOTONEDESTROYEDLIPORAIR!!!..." :o

it's just hard to do much when there is a constant rush of water under your board, almost motionless, a mistake and it will suck you to the wall and slam you.

A pro surfer, same spot, different angle...

I have never been there so this is just a guess, but from the looks of this wave there are probably a bunch of unmakeable sections, at least for mere mortals and not the pros that you see on the GoPro videos. So if you opportunistically sit tight to the impact zone and work your way up and down the point, you can grab some good waves without burning anyone. That seems to be a good strategy for getting waves at lost of seemingly perfect pointbreaks that I have been too like Jeffreys, Superbank, Honolua, Seaside, Deserts...But this Skeleton Bay looks more hollow and grinding than all of those and would be more challenging on the takeoff and to make the sections.

Forecast seems stable, tide 12-10 ft will give access to WB2 and WB.
Afterwork surf. Outgoing tide, so WB is the only place for surf. Everybody welcome, best surf 8-9pm.
Acadia will work for the wind people. HB probably 0.9m.
George worth the drive, bring longboard ;)

Looking for 1 more surfer as KD is away for a while.

Hey Gab, I'm eyeing up the session tomorrow. Maybe see you at WB in the PM, I'll be watching all day.

Cheers,

Tom

yes, I sent an email. 12-10ft tide will bring 45 minutes of coastal surf around 9pm, 1 break.
I would not miss it.

Water by 7pm.

Wed 6:30am, day after, too small.

Also, Whidbey, 6:30am, Wed, best place for surf, glassy surf from the JDF nite winds.

I'll be at WB2 right of spit, at 13 ft tide , it's the place.

Ulu, bring smallest board.

Sisters-Ballenas-Halibut in sync ... meaning 1.1m+ for HB by 8pm 8-)
