Forgot to post this one. Two monday's back on March 28, I gave PR a shot on the last NW. HB sitting at 0.6m with 14-18 knots of wind, and about 18kn at sand heads. tide was quite low at 1.4m (340pm). showed up at 240pm and some clean sets were coming through with great shape but lacking size, around 2feet maybe 2.5. current was strong but not too intimidating. border line held me up considerably, lost ~30min of surf while waiting. no other takers, but some tired cyclists seemed intrigued by the waves. surfed for about an hour on my softop. looked like it had some potential depending on the state of the cobble point (gets reshaped in the winter) and the tide.. i am guessing it might get busy when its actually cranking. forgot to look at potential beach break on gulf road, that might work too if wind is nuking.
