"AWESOME. A little sailing and a lot of soul. Always amazes me how flat cameras can make a place look. Loved the Traverse footage - it gave a real sense of the place. I am so glad you boys added the County to your itinerary this year. Here's hoping 2015 sees a better spring and some big big days. I know I will be down to check out Erie next season for sure." OW

The journal over at WindsurfCanada shows 15 days sailed in October and nine in November. Not sure your fuel budget could handle all the driving required though. :D ;)

I know Reiner got 40-some sessions in this year (including his trip to PSC (and he has a LOT of flexibility). He sailed a big day today at Sherkston, but its a three plus hour drive (each way from him, half of it in snow) to sail in one degree temps.

There are a few more (378) pictures here including some of the foot breaking wave roll (314-316).

Holy Crap that's some serious wind  Looks like an honest 50 knots on the water versus "graph" readings. 2.8 Goya and lit 8-)

G (ULU): This is the spot I was telling you about. Start at the beginning of this thread and watch the videos. Most feature a spot called 'Mac's' or 'Upper Mac's' which offers cleaner waves and side to side-off wind. Let me know if you think it would work for you and I'll put you in touch with some that sail there.

"Wind predictions for Sandbanks were very favorable, but never really materialized. Hopefuls who showed up still had fun amongst friends on this warm October day."
