I went to the boat launch hoping something would happen and eventually I decided to rig up.
Called Alton and he was in Tsawwassen so he came down just as I was ready to go. Thanks to Cash for coaxing me out to the wind line on his kite as I probably would have given up. The wind was out there but it was far. I managed to get a few planing runs in and that kept me on the water. For a while it felt like it was going to be a slog fest but then it picked up and it was perfect on the 5.8 110l. When the tide dropped the waves on the outside shelf were sweeeeeet, I haven't seen swell like that for a while.
If the wind was a little stronger it would have been epic jumping. Still got a few nice jumps in but it was lots of fun just playing in the waves. Made a few tacks too. We need more Centennial days! Tomorrow might be similar if we are lucky.
