I was thinking the same thing, those close outs look nasty!

The surfing (and SUP, as seen in the vid) can be pretty damn good in the area too.

This vid looks a little friendlier! @ 4:30 it looks like he takes the SUP to the head!
Reminds me a bit of Cape Sebastian, can't wait dude!
What time of year does this spot go off?

Can't wait for the Cape either, Michael!!

Typically these storm front days are on the radar between October-May, kind of similar to us. I have had some small wave days there in the summer for surfing and 4.7m + small wave days, but never one of these true DTL setups.

Just another item for the bucket list.

Awesome vid Tony, Maui looks like the place to be the next few weeks. Nice wind and swell combo! Wish I was there!

Looks at todays actuals compared to Windguru, looks like some solid trade winds happening now.

One winter.... I'll be back there and score days like these. Thomas Traversa absolutely killing it. Love these "real world" wave vids, they get me fired up!

C36, you are not helping, it's like giving a drink to an AA member.

Going to LA beginning of July (for the average disney/hollywood trip) I'm afraid I might ditch them for Huntington beach instead.

Ulu is going to Westport after France (June 15th), I'll keep you posted if you want to join.
Now I'll have to book that Uke cabin, I'll ask.

it was supposed to be a nice and easy summer and keep off the bottle.

In that video, one surfer got run over fins and all.

Awesome video. I've been studying the frontside cutback to understand how to improve my heelside turns. I noticed the surfer is compressing before entering the cutback then holding the rail and unweighting out of the turn. Got to practice actively compressing and unweighting my S-turns at the next session / workout.
