Acadia tide height

Off Topic Comments, Help, Tips and Trick

It’s been years since I have sailed at Acadia, I’m hoping to try again soon, maybe tomorrow morning? Last I remember the sandbanks started to show at 1.25m? Anybody know what height the sandbanks start to be exposed at these days? Cheers

I always seem to forget but if I recall correctly - the sandbar at Dog Beach appears at 1.7m tide and 0.7 at Upper Acadia.

TAF doesn't forecast much wind Sat AM but I hope it upgrades

Thanks Alton! My desperation leads me to believe windguru too much, I have to remember to check taf for a reality check. Can’t wait to try the foil at Acadia, the tide heights help! Happy Father’s Day tomorrow.

Acadia sand bump is exposed below 1.7m but it shifts around each year so it can vary.

Tolmie is the highest sandbar of them all at around 2.7m
