Hello,
So currently there are two entities that have Wings currently at the JSCA that I can confirm as it was through my ambassadorship with NorthASG that they were acquired.
1.) Blue 2023 Nova Wings = Windsure Adventure Watersports (the below picture is of me training some of our staff). Windsure technically the only school currently allowed to offer lessons out of the JSCA.
Windsure currently has a fleet of (more will be added mid-season or in the fall):
2023 Nova Wings
2x 4.2m, 5.0m, 6.0m
1x 7.0m
2 x 5'11 138L Carbon Seek Boards
2 x 85cm Sonar AF Foils
2 x 2200cm Recurved Front Foil Wings
4 x Tahe Hybrid Boards that work extremely well for Wingsurfing.
Windsure if offering two winging lessons at this time:
1.) An intro lesson to teach Wing control on longboards
2.) An intro lesson regarding how to approach Wing foiling with an emphasis on equipment management, safety and best practices in English Bay to enable someone to successfully pursue winging as a sport.
2.) Yellow 2023 Nova Wings = Club Locarno
Members of Club Locarno receive a discount on Windsure' s winging lessons as well as provide volunteer run clinic through out the year for winging and windsurfing.
Club Locarno is slowly rolling out their winging fleet currently consisting of:
2023 Nova Wings (Yellow)
4.2m, 5.0m and 7.0m
Slingshot Inflatable Board with accompanying large (+2000cm) recurved foil.
