Could someone in the know kindly do up a detailed Google map image of Tsawwassen circling the north and south launch points with wind directions? Also, hazard notes on the map would be useful: sand bars, clearance, rocks, piles, piers, wind shadows, currents, water traffic, power lines for kites etc etc.

This time of year many of us are looking to expand our sailing location options.Tsawwassen is of particular interest to me this season.

You will find everything here thanks to Dave C36

Here are my weed fins, 23 Mano seems to be the most common on the beach. I used to use a 14" Finworks with an 8.5 meter sail.

Fingers crossed for Friday and/or Saturday. Tides look favorable too. What would be the best Tsawwassen launch place to try for the FIRST time?

Friday. Centennial Beach.

There's not much incentive to launch at the ferry terminal for Friday's predicted SE.

Sand/ small rock launch. Lawn for rigging. Change room. Washroom. Large paved parking lot.
