Lost foil/mast, fish finder?

My front wing snapped off at the fuselage on Sunday and the rest of the fuse/stabilizer/mast ejected in the process and was lost to the sound. The wing floated and I recovered it, but the rest sunk. I was windfoiling just south of the Squamish terminal only around 10-20m from the rocky shore, about midway between the two terminal edges, but I expect its still fairly deep there.

Anyone have a decent fish finder that might be able to pick up a mast/foil on an otherwise hopefully smooth sandy bottom? Or maybe a grappling hook I could drag around on my SUP?

I did see an otter on the rocks while fumbling with my wing, but he didn't seem interested in helping recover my gear.

Not yet, got a warrantee replacement though. Slingshot customer service is awesome!

Tried dragging some metal on a string on my sup but wind picked up too fast. I did find 3 weird 30cm sections of PVC pipe floating at the end of roped anchors about 10m from the rocky shore. Don't think I hit any, but definitely a hazard! Were pretty covered with algae, I think I might remove those next time I go hunting for the foil.

so you are still missing the rear wing then , correct ?
I have diving gear , might be able to try finding it sometimes.

Yeah still missing it. Water there was only around 5m deep at low tide. Would be happy to reward you for finding it! Visibility is pretty poor there though. I'm probably try again when there's a low tide and calm winds
