Any suggestions where to “go” other than “to hell”?

Go windsurfing - like planned. I am going in 2 weeks to Revelstoke for some snowboading, then heading down to the Hood River. Not to hell, rather paradise.

I see paradise at the Spit with 2 kiters. Pumping up 8m. Come on out. Bluebird skies

I'm still here, not going anywhere. Just waiting for Trump to ban also travel from Canada into the US as he just did for the Europeans. Not far fetched..

Or Canada is cleared from future ban then I'd be more comfortable. But with so many uncertainties around and this is Trump we're talking about who likes unpredictability -- my travel plan is on hold.

Worse I can't afford US healthcare. I'd be bankrupt in a blink of an eye. Maybe travel insurance will exclude coronavirus infection -- who knows.

The self quarantine is the problem. What does that mean? I get it that kids can't go to school for 14 days and you can't go to work. Are you suppose to stay at home and not windsurf?

I was just out yesterday.. And I will be out again Saturday and again and again and again.
It doesn't stop me. I am self-quarantining myself in the ocean.

Lisa Simpson has a point. It will pass like any virus.

2 more covid-19 cases on the north shore. 2km from my route to Cypress mountain ... there's no escape for me.
