She didn't mention a crucial limitation of dry suit:
-- Can't pee in it for extra warmth

After a failure I have zero trust in a drysuit where breaking waves are happening.

i red you have to go wt recommended quality dry suit made of good goretex/zipper material or totally forget it for kayaking and windsurfing....very few can take a good tumbling under a wave. for sure a good wet suit is surely best design by its own nature:Wet.
