At least the seasons pass is affordable at $87, only 7 days to make it worth while. Still would have worked out to $8/day for me last year :S

It's really dumb though that 90% of the time all that parking will be unused and only Saturday's and Sunday's during July & August will it get used.

I hope they use this money to pay for a supervised kite launch zone away from the dogs.

Actually I doubt the city will see much money from this parking, it will probably all go to the parking enforcement company. Too much infrastructure and enforcement costs for an area that people only really want to park in numbers on 20 days of the year.

If it means I can show up at noon on a summer weekend, actually get a parking spot and kite a low tide at Acadia I'll gladly pay. It was only a matter of time in this city.
