Anyone ordered items from the EU?

Has anyone tried ordering from you-love-it.eu before? They are in Dusseldorf and look decent but I'm worried about customs charges and what not with stuff coming in from the EU.

Reading this makes me think it should be free:

But since the products are originally manufactured outside of the EU I wonder if that will be a problem.

Perhaps ship from the EU to Point Roberts then drive over and pick it up? You will still have to pay the taxes but are less likely to have to pay duties.

When I shipped sails from Sailworks last month I was expecting to pay duties. Sailworks is based in Oregon however the sails are actually made in China. The Country of Origin is not the US. When I picked them up at PR I did not pay the duties. So, either there is officially no duties on this gear regardless of Country of Origin or, (most likely) CBSA at PR forgot or did not care to actually open the package and look for the Made in China tag. Also, there was no mention on the invoice from Sailworks that the Country of Origin was china.

My 3 cents.
