I suspect that $400 would be hard to get back out if you ever sold the Futura down the road.
Here's Plan B.
1. Sell your Futura to me
2. Keep the 400 USD.
3. Put the proceeds from the Futura and $400 USD towards a foil friendly board with Deep Tuttle factory installed.
It's a win win really.

$400 USD does seem like a lot though for a finbox swap. Have you Contacted Roberts Composites locally to see what they would do it for?
