Cabarete Carribean

Just curious if anyone has recently made trip to Cabarete. And is it reliably windy this time around as advertised by Planet Windsurf?

I am thinking of going late April.

Was just there for 8 days this spring break and got one day and the rest rained. I was told it's been a really weird season. The wind does get better the closer you get to summer though.

recommended wind season time is june -july- aug. was there mid june till mid july in 07. wind is lightish there. relied on trade winds.smooth when on. I heard Puerto Rico much better but more $ to stay. bring a 10m + kite for light days. had a 9m best warroo and a too small twin tips122cm, was borrowing the school 142cm very often. very Warm no wetsuit waters. watchout for nighttime crimes(really) and the military don't joke there, don't get cut doing illegal stuff.well in 07.....

Thanks Jack. It has been really weird season even here .
Well summer I have plans to spend 2-3 weeks between the Gorge and Oregon Coast.

end of april ,northern mexico SanCarlos can be supposedly strong and a big peeler wave, yo.u have to drive and camp there, pay AsoloSports rights to camp and shit on that beach. the trade winds pick up all northern mexico pacific starting april I believe. dogs love it there! WOOOF WOOOF
