NE wind

Days upon days of pow are unfortunately coming to an end with bluebird sky's in the forecast, now NE wind starting up. Is there any local spots that are safe to sail on a NE wind?

Maybe Blackie Spit (Crescent Beach) but Sunday's high is 1°C - dangerously cold.

Jericho beach works on a NE, but when I ride with the wind in that direction I start close to the sailing center and stay close to the shore. Every time I've been I was alone too so I was extra cautious.
