I just heard 2016 full members are allowed to vote, lets go and lower the fees boys n girls, kiters and winsurfers !!!!

think they should lower membership prices and day fees btw, 165$ a year and 20$ a day I always thought too much.100-120$ season and 10-12 $ a day. next some click will vote 200 $ season and 25 a day??? like ski pass , lets user sign a waiver of non liability. im afraid kite schools members ,people who work there and there "friends" may have majority veto for whatever ...
***also I remember been close to people one day a while ago because The Virgin Guy wanted to make a commercial or something and money talk.
by lowering fees some local who use nexen will be back at the spit I think.

***I seen someone pay 20$ close to 6pm and the office close down and jets ski gone like 40min after, very long waits for rescues, preferential treatments(or reverse). Ways to address this as it happen and deal with is another issue. Not high fees or gadgets.
**** spit open all time for wind sport enthusiast , never close for private or public events.
*** money for membership Not funnel for private or sporting event, unless a general meeting on internet as exemple with the yes and no side having fair representation.

*** also find way that private enterprises, products pushing, and more have no veto or power on affecting The Site or SWS in any ways now or futur. im talking socialist power here. We windsport enthusiast decide decide .
**** Get grants ,recognition, subsidies from squamish / provincial and federal gouvernement as the site is Unique in Canada and needed by youth and old alike. I see this place like a Canada Park but without the high fees, An acces to the sea in Public domain. Iseen so many surf and wind spot affected by private ownership,private enterprises,political malignance all over the world and Canada, its really suck. $$$$$$$ is winning too often . Lets beat that.
**** discussing SWS future involvement to protect launch spots and open them better and freely around Vancouver to Lillooet. like: around Vancouver 3rd av , 72 av, White rock,crescent beach, Spanish bank, Jericho, north Vancouver, tsawassen ferry....
**** lets beat the old adage that Kiters lines and kites are too dangerous as an excuse for "Them" to stop kiteboarders to launch in many places. Same wt protected wildlife(ok, that would be a tuff one, but I think they will get use of our kites are not predator that eat them.affraid a bit yes. but we are not eagles ,hawks, others and they will learn I believe)
