I was chatting with Ryan on Sunday about a tool I have used to stitch repairs on tough sewing projects (harness webbing, thermo form footstraps, etc). Its called a Speed Stitcher and it looks like it is available locally at MEC, Home Hardware and Lee Valley. Its simple to use and handy to have. Lent it to a local at the Cape who had blown out a strap on his harness and it got him back out on the water (he was extremely grateful).
Someone from UBC sailing club (might have been Johnny or Kato) recommended it to me, it has proved very useful so I'm passing it along to others.
For your consideration.
