Signed! Thanks for posting, I've been working on a documentary series about this for the last few months. It's shocking and disturbing how bad this is and how far the industry and has gone to keep people quite. I can't believe it's been allowed to continue the way it has.

I watched a documentary about it too. Farming started in Norway. A virus destroyed their stocks. Same companies brought same fish here with same virus and now our salmon are dying.
Brutal.

can't say much, as I am in the middle of the fishing industry. Halibut used to be 6ft+ tall in the 1920's (lots, and I mean lots, shipped in trains), when we unload it's barely 2.5ft and 10% what used to be. Stock is dwindling compared to past decades and we were 1 billion people in the world in the 1900's and we are now 7 billion. Someone miscalculated the quota in the last 80 years (greed). Salmon going to farming is just a matter of time.
GMO's (roundup), fillers (sugar added to everything). My advice, read what you eat (pop=benzoate, phosphate to conserve, aluminum, etc.), buy organics (not expensive in choices/save on foods/safeway on sale , buy soap/toothpaste/shampoo/laundry with less harsh chemicals), and good luck.

Cattle takes 3 years to gain weight, grass fed, before hitting supermarket shelves. Feedlots, do it in 8 months (peanut shells, shooting copper to make them shine). It's edible either way. If margarine is healthier, why won’t ants eat it?

Canola oil is the only allowable oil for frying in Vancouver restaurants. Do your own research on canola oil.

Correct, that's not the argument here, it's how it's being done. The process needs to change, if you say something that might happen!

Michael, only awareness and making it public will get the best possible solution. David Suzuki interview about 3 weeks ago on TV, said it very clear "we fought hard for causes, but at the end we only delayed the outcome by a few years, decade".

I rather be in opposition and speak my mind, with you on this one.
