Things are looking great for Locust at the moment. Sleep in a bit, wait for the tide to drop. By 11 am it should be blowing like a sunuva bitch. Higher tide last week made for great waves throughout the entire bay.
Was told with strong winds there can be a storm surge and a 8 foot tide can actually appear to be closer to 9 foot. So it will be challenging to launch tomorrow morning. Might be better to wait until late morning as tide will be better. Otherwise, forecast looks great.

Great morning. by 10am there was enough beach and water was shallow enough to get a kite up. First 3 kites were 4M, 4.5M, and me on a 5M. Had a solid hour of strong wind. It was up and down but with a 5M kite it was easy to manage. I went back in to the beach to socialize, and take a few pics. Pumped up 7M, but wind died off a bit. Went up the stairs to get my 9m, but once at the truck I decided to head home and spend time with family. I was hoping to practice downloop or help loop to help soften landing on high jumps but I'm a loser and couldn't force myself to try it. Landings are a bit hard sometimes with the small kites. Saw some wind squalls out in the bay. Looked pretty crazy first thing in the am.
