Wanted 430 ezzy mast skinny 91%

The weight of RDM, SDM and Epoxy Mast.

Reply from Chinook when I asked about the weight of their Carbon mast vs Epoxy mast. I thought Carbon was lighter, but RDM is heavier as explained from their Product Development team.

..... The reason the C60 is heavier than the C40 is the C60 is an RDM mast which requires a greater wall thickness to achieve the same stiffness. The C40 is a lighter, quicker reacting mast, though it won't be as strong in surf conditions. The Epoxy/glass mast is made for economy & easy handling in light winds but will not perform as well when loaded up in planing conditions & is also a bit heavier. I would say the weights are +/- 0.1-0.2 kg on those masts - especially the Epoxy/glass mast.
