I can't handle it anymore. Once again I'm sitting at Centennial and it's blowing 15-20 knots and I can't sail! Grr. I need a bigger board.

Let me know what you have. Must be power box and 95-115L range.

Cheers!

Browner,

Get a fucking kite!

Seriously! :D  :D

You, of all people, would appreciate that this large 230 lbs (+- ) tower of fun just ripped around on a 5'8" fish strapless surfboard, smacking it frontside and getting some solid, solid rides for almost three hours on a 9m kite whilst you languished on shore.

There is no way I could have gotten my wave gear going (well, ok, maybe once or twice) in these conditions and it should have been a struggle to stay upwind if I did. Stop being that guy waiting for it to blow 4.7 and come to the dark side.

There is a time and place for DTL windsurf gear and today was certainly not one of them! I speak from personal experience, as i am not only the President of the Hair Club for Men, but I am also a client. :D

You know what Chuck...I was thinking about that today as I was all drippy with tears, staring out at the whitecaps. Maybe I should get a kite.....and a bio matrix hair piece...to cover my bald spot. Since you're the president, could you get me a team rider deal on a toupee? I could be your extreme conditions tester ;).

Seriously though, you're right. I should get under a kite. My last kite experience was doing a downwinder with Dave Nunn in Hatteras...Naish 2 line kite on a 7'6" sky pirate with foot straps. So, not the best experience...but I hear technology has changed :).

So tell me, what size kite for 20 knots and under?
