Superfreak 5.8UL, 430 Mast, 140-190 boom

2014 Superfreak 5.8 Ultralight - rigs on 430, used about 10 times, small scratch at clew professionally repaired with Tear-Aid $275

95% carbon Hot Sails Hot Rod 430 Mast, used about 10 times, not a scratch on it $300

Hot Sails 140-190 boom, grip is in good shape, was my spare $40

How would this sail rig on a powerex mast (90% RDM)?
I'm assuming the boom is aluminum?

I've never tried rigging this sail on a Powerex however I did rig my 4.7 Superfreak on a friend's 90% carbon Powerex 400 this summer at Nitinat and it rigged up very nicely. I actually preferred it to my Hot Sails 400 so I would assume the 5.8 would work with Powerex too. Neither of them are stiff top. The boom is aluminum.

I've been doing a bit of research about the superfreak and learned it's quite different than other sails out there... I wouldn't mind to demo it before I buy, if I could... I'm on the Island, though. I imagine you live on the mainland? Do you ever come over for a sesh???
