Day 41 -

LeopardSkin, hate to rub it in ... but I will.

10-15 cm on Jasey Jay and Ashleigh McIver. 40 cm POW Bilodeau. Snow was so light and fluffy, I did the super secret Bilodeau run 3 times. It was worth the horizontal hike across the parking lot.

Fabulous turns this morning at Cypress. About 20 CM of new snow over a soft base. Had lots of fresh tracks on Upper Fork, Upper Jasey Jay, Lower Fork, Cascade, Upper Bowen, Bowen Face, Upper First Sun and Raven, and then my favourite exit run (when I stuck my ski pole in the snow there it went half way to the hilt). I decided to leave before the lift line-ups got long, and to save some energy for tomorrow. At 10:15 AM the line of cars waiting on the Cypress road went almost to the works yard turn off.

Day 41 - Fabulous turns this morning at Cypress (without LeopardSkin). Wish we had more days like this ... dry fluffy snow (20 cm to knee high). Favorite runs included Jasey Jay, Ashleigh McIver, Gibsons, Bowen ... and finished off with the super secret Bilodeau :D

Day 43 - Not the 30+ cm pow day the snow stake mislead us to believe. Still excellent dry snow conditions. Repeated Jasey Jay + Ashleigh McIver then Bowen to Midway then my favorite - Upper and Lower Rainbow for tons of bottom turns and cut backs over the bumps ... much like kitesurfing a wave session. Finally, finished it off with Francis and LeopardSkin down the super secret Bilodeau run. Probably my favorite day of the season :D :D :D
