When it's absolutely too cold

Got the whole mountain to myself.

Drizzle stopped. Laying down trenches everywhere. Come on up.

Day 73 - Early rain discouraged the morning regulars. Great timing. Pouring rain and drizzle stopped just as lifts opened ... then followed by some clearing. Plently of untracked cushy grippy corduory leftover at 11:30 when I left. Super fun laying down super wide euro-carves with minimal shoulder checks.

Enjoyed ripping some runs with skier Bob who arrived late but early enough for plenty of untracked corduroy.

Day 74 - Ho hum ... yet another might fine day. Saw a few familiar faces.

Fantastic groomers on the Lions and even better on Crazy Raven. Kinda foggy at lower elevations but the great snow conditions made up for that.

Yes Alton, but you should not have left. Steph and I skied until 1pm and the slush bumps just kept getting better, plus the fog cleared right out. Lower Coyote was our run-of-the-day (twice).
With the cafe open at 10 am now, we took a short mid-morning break while the conditions improved so nicely! Classic spring snow.
