Cypress 2018/2019

POW and SUN all morning! Great fun doing Black-on-Black, and Meteor on Raven Chair; and Moons on Lions Chair. The powder was a bit “west coast” by mid-morning but still great for those steep runs.
Sky Chair was busy but got a couple good powder runs up there too. My legs were done by noon, just when the clouds started rolling back in.

I decided to remortgage the house and go to whistler today. Timed it perfectly to head over to 7th heaven and got there just as it opened to get 3 awesome fresh track runs in knee deep POW before it got tracked out. Sun came out for the afternoon to top it off.

Day 31 (forgot to post days 29 and 30 from last week) - Temperature inversion on the Eagle chair felt like a furnace. Crappy grooming quickly turned to soft / slushy conditions - good for tight turns. Solo riding on snowboard (ie. no usual suspects).

Day 32 - Snowboarding in a pack (LeopardSkin, Gary, Rod and myself). Other usual suspects included Doug, Rob, Clay and Jerry.

Perfect spring snow all afternoon on Eagle chair. Bit sloppy on Lions side but still fun. Missed the morning crowd of regulars but had a great time riding with Francis and my old friend Mark.
No lineups; I thought it was spring break?!
