Great POW day today. Left at 1:00 when it was all tracked out. It must have dropped another 15cm whilst I was there.

Shredded some pow today on Fromme myself!
Fresh tracks, no lineups, free season pass, tacky dry snow even on all the ladder bridges... Sweet!
Beautiful day!

Fantastic morning at Cypress. Just about everything was skied out around the Lions and Eagle chairs first thing this morning so I headed to the Raven Ridge area. Had some fabulous fresh tracks on Black on Black (two laps) then went over to Meteor. It was one of those rare occassions with smooth, soft, dry untouched powder - 25 cm deep - along with sunshine, blue skies, and great scenery. It was a bit of a trek to get back to the Eagle Chair and I would usually only do it once but I couldn't resist today.

I noticed that there were a couple of grooming machines working around the bottom of the Raven chair so I wouldn't be surprised if they opened that chair in the next day or so.

I skied untill around 11 AM and the crowds were building. As I drove out I saw that all the parking lots were full except about 20 spaces at the end of 3B. However, there was a line of about 50 cars backed up on the road waiting to park who knows where. :D :D

It always seems sweeter when it appears conditions will be crap but you end up having a great day. Arrived in the Cypress parking lot to rain. Thought I'd end up doing a couple of runs then go home, but got a nice surprise to find about 20 cm of fresh snow mid mountain and higher. Very few people on the hill today so got in lots of fresh tracks on Moons, upper Bowen, upper Fork & Jasey Jay, top of Rainbow, and Trumpeter. They opened Sky Chair around 10:30 AM so I did Tomcat then Top Gun. Powder was great on the top half of Cypress but sticky nearer the bottom. Jerry and Benito were the only other regulars I saw today. :D

I had a great morning today in the warm sunshine. Early on the groomers were quite nice but as it warmed up and the snow softened it was just like a good spring day. Slushy snow made for some fun riding but that’s enough of that, let see some more snow please.

Day 16 - After 1 month of gluttony, today was my first day of physical activity. What a terrible day of hard pack crappy groomers with Rob F, Marc, EzzyLover and Jerry - considering skiing instead of snowboarding if this keeps up.

Greg - sorry we lost you but we detoured to the Eagle chair hoping for better conditions - it was just as bad.
