Greg - sorry we lost you but we detoured to the Eagle chair hoping for better conditions - it was just as bad.

No worries , you guys are super fast too !
I stay on this side for a while it was decent , tried sky chair .... which had frozen muggles at some point, not fun (for me)

Day 17 - So far my favorite session of the season. 5 to 10 cm of fresh and NOT sticky! Fun snowboarding with Rob F, Marc and LeopardSkin. Other skiers included Rob W, Clay, Doug and Bill

Went up this afternoon and it was dumping the whole time. So much fun, but the parking lot and road down were a joke. There were so many cars getting stuck. Tomorrow am should be good.

On the ride down Cypress Bowl Road, saw two separate accidents. Two smashed cars in one scene, and a third car in the ditch at a second location. Likely with only M&S all-season tyres, instead of proper snow tyres.
Saw a front-wheel drive VW bus spinning the front tyres struggling to go up the road.

Scenes like these are a positive reminder of the great conditions for the weekend!!!

Today was pretty good. Rating was 1-car. There was only one crashed car in the ditch. 6" freshies over groomed. Snow was a little heavy.

Not as good as yesterday's 3-car session which had 18" freshies.

Ravens was so good this morning. Almost knee deep
powder and quiet, the runs stayed fairly untouched for the first hour. By 10:30
it was getting tracked out and by 11:00 the crowds arrived on the other chairs and the fog rolled in so I called it a day.
