We received a full 30 cm of fresh snow Thursday as the temperatures cooled down, then we fired up our full State of the Art Snowmaking System and we’ve been making huge amounts of Snow on the Eagle Express terrain. The temperatures are perfect for Snowmaking to continue right through until Monday – 24 hours a day! :)

Day 1 - One 10m wide run open (Upper Maelle Ricker to lower Panorama). Hard packed (icy) on groomed section. Crud on the side softened quickly for some nice turns but got crowded by 9:45am. Scored 1hr snowboarding under sunny sky with Jerry, Clay, Doug, Rob and Bill ... then returned to work just in time for a sushi lunch :D

Cypress Saturday morning 8:45-10:45 was good to get up for a warm up but the conditions were poor. 1 narrow run with bare patches, lots of beginners siting on the run and rain/wet snow. I won’t be going again until there is some more snow. The park was in surprising good shape and would be worth hiking if you like rails.
