When it's absolutely too cold

Day 24 (today) at Cypress. Ho hum ... yet another -10°C bluebird day with soft grippy groomers perfect for aggressive carving. Thought I would be skiing alone until I found ZZ Top (Cash) so we spent 3 hours exploring every run ... all excellent.

Day 25 - my favorite POW day of the season. 15 cm of dry fluffy powder perfect for floaty turns on my snowboard. Cold -6°C temperature made for excellent conditions including good visibility. Like PacMan we chased and scored fresh tracks all morning on every run.

Shared the POW with fellow slackers including Clay, Doug, Rob, Jerry, Benito, Bill and Marc. Saw Brian C driving up when I left.

Yes, great day up here. Mokka and I just took the afternoon session on Raven Ridge. Upper Coyote 7, First sun, Black on Black, and Shoreline were all awesome. Lots of loose stuff still laying around to play in, and good light! Too bad they closed it at 3.

Day 26 - 10 cm of fresh this morning. Super fun snowboarding with Jerry, Mark, Rob W, Rob F and Benito. Doug, Clay, Bob and Bill were skiing. Heavy snow so we chased fresh tracks all over until it was tracked out by 11am. My favourites were Coyote 7 and Cascades/McIvor's.

Doug finally scored his first lunch special (lasagne) this season :D

Day 27 - Yet another blue bird day above the clouds. Discovered 5 to 10 cm of fresh snow on Raven Ridge. Shoreline and Coyote 7 were untracked and remained loose for most of the morning. Fun skiing with Jerry and Bill.
