Surprisingly great day at Cypress. Snowed all morning. The Cypress 1PM report says they've had 31 cm in the last 24 hours. Did most of my favourite powder runs. Very few people here considering it's a Saturday, fresh snow, and only a few days left in the season. :D

Day 67 - 10-15 cm of POW. Too heavy on Crazy Raven and Olympic. Much better on Lions. Too bad I had to leave at 10:30am so missed Sky Chair. Enjoyed the POW with usual suspects. Rob F, LeopardSkin, Marc and Jerry snowboarding. Doug, Rob W, Clay, Bob skiing. JM and Don from Squamish.

Afternoon shift was great today. We took our daughter up for the afternoon. Youth ticket is only $31 after 1230.
Snow was a bit too heavy at bottom of Eagle so we spent lots of time on Sky Chair and Lions, which got better as the day progressed.
Sun broke through in earnest around 230 for classic spring skiing.

Nice accumulation of 10-15 cm (the Cypress 1 PM report says 20 cm) of fresh powder on the slopes this morning - especially on top of a smooth groomed surface like upper Fork, lower Jaysee Jay, Horizon etc. Off piste was do-able but it was somewhat hard and bumpy underneath in those areas. Visibility ranged from excellent at times to complete vertigo inducing fog whiteout. :D
