When it's absolutely too cold

Day 40 - Last sunny day for a while so took advantage of it. Fun skiing with Rob W, Jerry, Dale and Bill. Groomers were firmer than yesterday so best runs were limited to Jasey Jay, McIyver and Maelle Ricker. Excellent grooming but most other runs were hard pack / icy but started to soften near noon.

Day 41 - Pow Day!!! Amazing snowboarding day with Rob F and Marc B. Where was everybody? Stuck in traffic? Hardly anyone there so we had 5 to 10 cm of fresh virgin tracks all to ourselves for over 2 hours. My best pow day of the season!

Day 42 - Fun snowboarding with Marc and Rob F. Smooth grippy groomers with a velvety layer of fresh on top. Coyote 7 was my favorite with 5cm to 10cm of untracked fresh snow. Other riders included Jerry, Benito, Bob, Sam and Nina. Excellent conditions lasted until 11am when crowds started to arrive.

Day 43 - Skied with Clay, Jerry, Rob W, Bob and Doug today. Great soft smooth groomers under sunny sky. Coyote 7 was best with 3 to 5 cm of fresh over groom so we tracked it out before moving on.

Wish I ran into you guys - skied solo from 9 - 1. Coyote 7 and Shoreline were both excellent but my run-of-the-day was Slash at about 1130 am. The warm sun had softened the moguls into near-perfect condition!
Probably take a break tomorrow and try to catch fresh snow Thursday morning before it turns to rain.
