Minimum requirement : Cypress pass -skiing or/and snowboarding. Also yellow tape/stripes on helmet. if no helmet on jacket / toque
Also strongly suggested to be or become a Windsurfer or/and kiteboarder.
1st meeting in a couple weeks at Benito's meeting room in New Westminster. plenty of street parking and a decent size very hot sauna and cold shower for pre/during/after meeting
Unaware Members: Jerry, Clay , Alton, Rob, Tony, Benito.
Purpose: Power of Yellow Team regarding matters at Cypress and The Squamish
Spit, BS talks together about snow and wind matters, watch some home made video/pics, eat food, drink in moderation and more to be annonce... IM me if interested, suggestions, and what not. thinking a Sat early evening between 6pm and 9pm. Remember, CypressSilver pass is cheap, Gold as no restrictions , the two are awesome

So encouraged by today's conditions, I'm in for Saturday. I'll be snowboarding instead of skiing.

Lift opens at 9am so be there 8:15am to line up for first chair. I hope more runs will be open on the weekend ... but the website says just Colins and Sky Chair.

@Roxstock - you can switch your bindings back. No need for a rock board. I'm easy to spot. I always wear a bright red jacket.

Cypress got 10cm. Mix of snow and rain. Hopefully more snow than rain.

Cypress parking lot OSR. Dumping tons of liquid snow. Lots of parking still available. Come on out!

Just been told the hill is open! Liquid snow is the best.

Crowds died down by lunchtime at Whistler today. Most people's early-season legs were probably dead from all the DEEP snow. Incredible coverage for this time of year. They should be able to open a lot more terrain as soon as they get a break in the storms to catch up on avalanche control.
Well worth the trip already if you have an Edge card bonus day to use
